Rustic Arts - Decorative Arts

Shake Rag Alley is proud to have unique workshops in rustic arts. Throughout the year we offer various classes in rustic furniture such as bent willow chairs, woodworking, wood carving, gourd art, basket making, and workshops creating with  twigs and branches, and other natural materials. Our Rustic Art instructors are from the Midwest and beyond, including nationally acclaimed rustic designer Daniel Mack, Todd Kingery, John Werner, Public television’s “Wisconsin Gardener” Shelley Ryan, Alan Bradstreet, and many other fine rustic artists.
Every year in July,  Shake Rag Alley hosts the Midwest Woodlanders Gathering for a long week end of Rustic Crafts and Nature Arts workshops, with over 60 offerings from which to choose .
