Midwest workshops in concrete sculpture, hypertufa planters, carved hypertufa, mosaic art and glass projects are among the many lively classes at Shake Rag Alley. Other projects include leaf casting, memory vessels, Japanese style lanterns, small mosaic sculptures. During Mosaic Madness weekend, students create concrete sculptures decorated in pique assiette mosaic. During Mosaic ShishKaBob weekend students make tall concrete sculptures in sections strung on a vertical pole and movable.
