FINDING YOURSELF AND OTHERS VIA WEBLOGGING
Kriss Marion
Sunday, June 29, 2008
1—5pm

Have you been thinking about entering cyberspace through the posts of a blog, but don’t know how to get started? Do you already blog regularly and feel you aren’t really achieving your goals in writing? Local farmer and writer Kriss Marion, who writes an established farm almanac blog, will get you started on a blog template and help you practice writing skills catered to the blogging format. Learn how to journal effectively, and then edit your drafts in a way that makes them relevant to other readers, carefully walking the line between self-revelation and over-exposure. You can find yourself in the process of regular posting, and also find people all over the world with similar interests. A laptop will enhance your experience, but you can get along with taking notes. We also have some MAC computers for student use.
