"It's like summer camp for adults!"
That's the way one participant described the fun of taking art workshops at Shake Rag Alley. Classes tend toward the unusual and alternative sides of art. Instructors are very inventive, and students go home with unique projects they've made themselves.
Between classes, stroll the old brick pathways, enjoy rambling gardens and overhanging trees, peer into a bubbling spring, climb rustic stairs to the Alley Stage outdoor theater, relax with a beverage at the Shake Rag General Store, stay overnight at the historic Coach House guest rooms or the Mousehole guest suites, check out the art galleries downtown (a block away), and wish you lived here.
