THE COACH HOUSE at 18 SHAKE RAG STREET Stagecoaches used to roll to a stop here in the mid-1800s, and today the Coach House still offers the traveler a comfortable bed, considerably updated in amenities, as each of the upstairs rooms has a charming private bathroom. All rooms feature artwork by regional artists. Next door is the Shake Rag Cafe, and our guests are invited to explore the rustic paths and tree-lined gardens surrounding eight historic buildings and the forever bubbling spring of Shake Rag Alley. |

THE MOUSEHOLE at 14 SHAKE RAG STREET The charming 1839 stone and brick duplex, one of the oldest in Mineral Point, was dubbed The Mousehole for a Cornwall sea coast village named Mousehole (pronounced Mauzel). Each of the two handsomely appointed apartments features a full, furnished kitchen; a comfy living room; two bedrooms, one with queen-size bed and one with two twin beds; and a large bathroom with shower.
