18A514B - Viking Knitting

Make a Viking Knit bracelet out of copper wire. Viking knit is an ancient form of circular wire weaving that has been adapted to make beautiful jewelry, often enhanced with beads. Perfect for beginners, Viking Knit can be a forgiving technique because you do not have to do perfect work. There is a very comforting "rhythm" to this technique akin to repetitive crafts like knitting, tatting and crochet. You’ll finish off your bracelet with copper bead caps and a toggle, and add a feature bead if you like. You will go home with some tools so you can make more on your own.

Level: Novice and above

Student Supply List:
A special bead you might want to add.

Tuition $55
Materials Fee $25
