Richard Hedderman

Richard Hedderman received his B.A. in English from the University of San Francisco and M.A. in Poetry from the University of New Hampshire. He is the author of a collection of poetry, The Discovery of Heaven (Parallel Press, 2006), and his poems and essays have appeared in numerous national and international publications. Recent publishing credits include poems in South Dakota Review, CutBank, Chautauqua Literary Review, Rattle, Exlipse, Blue Collar Review, Arsenic Lobster, Kestrel, The Midwest Quarterly and Skald (Wales). His essays and poetry have been featured on Milwaukee’s NPR affiliate Lake Effect program, and his work has been collected in The Anthology of New England Writers, Arsenic LobsterJournal Best Poetry of 2010, as well as the anthology, In a Fine Frenzy: Poets Respond to Shakespeare (University of Iowa Press). He has been a guest poet at the Library of Congress for its Poetry at Noon program. He lives in Milwaukee.
