19R237P-A - Necktie-Printed Scarves

19R237P-A - Necktie-Printed Scarves

Ever wonder what to do with old silk neckties worn by the men in your life? They will live on through Cathy’s mystery process of color transfer from silk ties to a blank silk scarf. You’ll enjoy wearing a memory-rich scarf or giving one to someone who’ll treasure necktie imprints. You may bring 100% silk ties from your favorite person’s closet or purchase several at second-hand shops. Bring a minimum of three ties or purchase ties from Cathy in class for $3 each. Deep colors work best. (Ties will not survive the process.) You will complete two scarves during class and prepare one to take home and finish later.

Materials fee includes three silk scarf blanks.
