Woodlanders Gathering Rustic Crafts and Nature Arts WorkshopsWith our hands and with simple hand tools we work with willow, twigs, bark, grasses, leaves, earth, stone, leather, gourds, and more, learning ancient and ever new techniques in workshops taught by men and women who love to share ideas and skills. Join us under the Shake Rag Alley trees, have some fun making things to take home with you, like twig tables, lamps, chairs, slab benches, Adirondack style shelves and clocks, garden gates and trellises, brooms, baskets, mosaic bird baths, garden sculpture, nature dyed silks, leather journals, rustic musical instruments, and so much more. There are great excursions hunting fossils, learning about medicinal and edible plants, the mysteries of trees, even a chance to try your hand at blacksmithing or using a dousing rod. With over 60 workshops to choose from packed into these four fun filled days you will get to know like-minded, nature-loving folks, and enjoy creating Woodland Crafts and Nature Arts at what many consider Shake Rag Alley’s summer camp for adults. Join us for a memorable experience. |
