A Mixed Media Art Retreat!  
Thur–Sun, August 23–26, 2018

Immerse yourself in art making at Art Adventure. 

Four days of workshops in collage, assemblage, mixed media jewelry and fiber arts, altered books, cement/mosaic, and more. All skill levels welcome!

You will start with photographic images from the workbook Journal Starters: Nature Backgrounds, Textures & Collaborations™ and use them to create a collage of your choice. Images from the book include clouds, water, rocks, bark, driftwood, flowers and other plant matter. These images will be the jump-start to creating an object using their textures and colors. Different collage techniques will be taught including making your own see-through placing and tearing templates.

Students will have the choice of working from their imagination or with the use of reference photos.

Level: Beginner and above
