|2014 marks the eighth season for Alley Stage, a nationally recognized theater company based in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Dedicated to the production of known plays, development and readings of new works, and music events, Alley Stage produces a summer season on an intimate outdoor stage in a secluded corner of historic Shake Rag Alley, as well as off season events at the Shake Rag Alley Cabinet Shop.|| Alley Stage is led by an

Alley Stage is the performing arts branch of Shake Rag Alley, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, and is run through the generous support of donors, grants and revenue generated through ticketed events and fundraisers. Please consider donating to Alley Stage to help with production costs, artist stipends, equipment, maintenance and grounds costs, and help us continue our tradition of producing professional quality performing arts events in Mineral Point.
AlleyStage is also always looking for new volunteers. Whether
you can help us with administrative time, set building, concessions, or
costumes we like making new friends and giving all interested parties
the opportunity to work behind-the-scenes at Alley Stage. For more

Alley Stage is available to rent for performing arts events.
Performers should submit a web video link and performance fee
requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org.
| Play Submissions
Alley Stage welcomes submissions of original plays for consideration for upcoming seasons. Plays should have minimal technical requirements suitable for an outdoor setting, and should require no more than 8 actors. Alley Stage also welcomes submissions of original works-in-progress for live reading events and critiques by arts professionals.
Beginning February 18, 2013 all submissions should be sent to Alley Stage via US mail. Due to the number of submissions we receive, and the time it takes our staff and volunteers to read through the submissions, we now request a $20 submission fee, payable to Alley Stage. This submission fee will go toward our new works development fund.
