Using the same stitch as yarn crochet, students will learn how to make artwork-inspired bead crochet bracelets. During class students will learn how to crochet the stitch and incorporate beads, how to read bead crochet patterns and how to finish pieces. Technical aspects of the class include how to adjust the design for sizing, how to overcome mistakes such as missed stitches or incorrect bead stringing, adding thread and beads, and thread and hook usage.

Materials fee includes:
47 g. total, size 11 seed beads
40# thread in complimentary color
Size 10 or size 12 crochet hook
9inch cotton bolo cord 1/4inch diameter
1 - 10 mm magnetic closure
1 - big-eye needle
1 - medium size bobbin
1 - tapestry needle

Level: Novice and above
